Acting as the Architects for any project, we design all parts of the work, including the interior design. Here we have designed the structural columns, the lighting, woodwork and all finishes.

Looking into the Addition from the original home, we see the new maple plank floor extending into the Kitchen. The rooms of the Addition are spacious and filled with natural light.

Round-head windows on all sides of the Kitchen flood the room with light. A maple plank countertop on the Island matches the new maple floor. At the Breakfast table, a built-in bench seat wraps around two sides of the corner, making a comfortable place to sit in. All cabinets have been built to our design.

We wanted to convey the feeling of a high-ceilinged loft space in the Master Bedroom. Our interior design resulted in a generously-appointed Master suite of rooms: the bedroom; an ensuite bathroom with a frameless glass shower and a freestanding tub; and separate walk-in closets.

In doing the planning for any new construction, we look carefully at how the building should sit on the property, and how the landscape and the new structure might best be married.

In adding to the original historic home, we specified recycled brick for the walls and round-head windows to match the old windows. The decorative corner quoins mimic the original brickwork.
